This alpine style chalet has a delightful terrace and garden enclosed by forest on one side and offers a panoramic view of Triglav, Slovenia’s highest mountain and the surrounding Julian Alps. It is situated on the edge of the tranquil village of Bohinj Polje just a few minutes drive or a short walk via a scenic forest path to the majestic Lake Bohinj, a serene lake surrounded by towering peaks and pristine forests.
From this pretty holiday accommodation Bohinj, Slovenia - you'll find a huge range of outdoor activities all year round both on and around the Lake - from fly-fishing to mountain biking, from kayaking to mountain walking not to mention excellent on and off piste skiing at the highly respected resort of Vogel (5-10 minutes drive). In the other direction just 5 minutes drive is the ski resort of Kobla in the town of Bohinjska Bistrica which also offers range of skiing for all abilities. Bohinjska Bistrica also offers a number of restaurants, bars, shops, a spa and water park and other useful facilities.
The villa has three bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin), large open plan living room / dining room with double sofabed, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, toilet, secondary reception room in the cellar (also with double sofabed which can be moved to wherever it is required in the house) and balcony with stunning views. Everything has been recently renovated and newly equipped to the highest standards with flat screen TV / DVD player and outdoor seating and barbeque area among its many features.
