Villa Nebina is located in Ratece, a characteristic rustic village in the Julian Alps and a lovely place for a Kranjska Gora holiday. It offers a very easy going pace of life in an excellent position for exploring the wonderful Julian Alps and is located just 5 minutes drive from the resort of Kranjska Gora itself and just a few minutes from where the Slovenian Austrian & Italian borders meet - an interesting and beautiful place for a holiday. The famous Tamar Valley (home of the world famous Planica ski jump centre) is just a few minutes away from the Villa & a breathtaking place for walking, as is the whole Triglav National park which is easily accessible by car from Kranjska Gora.
Watersports such as rafting and kayaking on the Soca river are easily accessible for daytrips as are the famous lakes at Bohinj & Bled. As for skiing, there are a number of options possible from the Villa and it is easily possible to ski a different resort every day for a week. Kranjska Gora skiing (the closest resort to the villa - 5 minutes drive) is ideally suited for beginners and families whilst other resorts in the Kranjska Gora holiday area offer a range of ski opportunities for different levels. In Ratece village there a number of superb traditional Slovenian alpine "gostilnas" (taverns), bars,a supermarket and petrol station all within walking distance of Villa Planina. In Kranjska Gora itself (5 minutes drive from the ski chalet), there are an abundance of holiday facilities, from restaurants to bars, shops, spas & pools.
